Haiti wins 2007 Caribbean Digicel Soccer Championship
PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad Haiti won the Caribbean Cup by defeating Trinidad and Tobago 2-1 in Tuesday's soccer final, and Cuba claimed third place after downing Guadeloupe 2-1.
First-time winner Haiti, contesting only its second final in the Cup's 18-year history, emerged triumphant after a competition lasting 73 matches and involving 25 teams.

Brazil's Ronaldo has leg surgery
SAO PAULO, Brazil - Brazil striker Ronaldo had minor surgery Saturday to remove calcifications on his left leg.
The calcifications had caused the Real Madrid player pain in recent months, said Ronald's spokesman Paulo Julio Clement. He is expected to leave the Pasteur Hospital in Rio de Janeiro by early Sunday.
